ED DELIA ASSUMES LEADERSHIP POSITION WITH YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS ORGANIZATION
WHITEHOUSE, NJ - Ed Delia, president of Delia Associates of Whitehouse, New Jersey, has been appointed to the position of Membership Chair of the New Jersey Chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization (NJ YEO). He will be assuming the role in July of 2005, currently serving as Communications Chair for the group.
With current membership at 89 of the state’s top entrepreneurs, the New Jersey association is the third fastest growing chapter of YEO Worldwide. “We have established a goal of 100 members by year’s end,” stated Delia. “As we introduce the organization to entrepreneurs across the state, they immediately realize that in addition to being an effective peer group and valuable information resource, we are a significant workforce and economic development engine.”
The NJ YEO presents regular meetings, educational forums, and roundtables that bring business leaders together to exchange ideas, experiences, and advice. Interaction with the international organization provides exposure to the world’s best young business people. Membership is made up of decision-makers under 40 years of age in some of the state’s fastest growing companies. The NJ YEO currently represents over $1 billion in annual sales and over 4,000 employees.
“As member businesses grow, we are creating jobs in some of the fastest growing business sectors in the world,” explained Delia. “We represent manufacturing, retail, financial technology, telecommunications, life sciences, and virtually every other important business category.”
