REGIONAL BUSINESS OWNER ADDRESSES HUNTERDON CENTRAL STUDENTS ABOUT ENTREPRENUERSHIP
Whitehouse, New Jersey – WHITEHOUSE, NJ - Ed Delia, President of Delia Associates of Whitehouse, N.J., has been invited to speak to Hunterdon Central High School students enrolled in the school’s Entrepreneurship course. On Monday, January 23, Delia, along with other regional business owners, will participate in a panel discussion to educate the students on business ownership.
This is the first time that the school has offered a coursed aimed solely on entrepreneurship. The course was designed by Janet Comerford of the school’s Business Education Department and is taught by both Comerford and mark Priebracha. A panel format was selected to give the students a broad range of perspectives on business ownership and to allow them to ask specific questions of the panel.
"As a Hunterdon County business owner, I am committed to helping our area's students make informed decisions about their careers and education paths," stated Delia, who is also on the Advisory Committee for Hunterdon County Polytech career Academy. "If we can help the students decide at this critical time that they would enjoy a career path in entrepreneurship, or equally important that entrepreneurship is not for them, then the panel was a success," explained Delia.
